CHURDHAR PEAK-Churdhar is located in Sirmour, Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh, which is 3647 mtrs above from the sea level. Churdhar peak is the highest peak in Sirmour district and also in outer Himalayas. It is known for its religious significance. Churdhar is a holy place of “Lord Shirgul Maharaja”.
This temple is on the top of the mountain, which is very far from town’s hustle-bustle. Churdhar is approachable by walking through a sanctuary which includes many wild animals, beautiful flora and fauna in it. The place is very peaceful and beautiful too , which attracts all the devotees of ‘Shirgul Maharaja’. After coming to this place one can release all his tensions because this place is divine and very positive. Churdhar is very calm and heavenly place of Himachal Pradesh.

How to visit-

The place can be approached by lots of routes but the main routes are from Nohradhar, Sirmour of 14km and Sarhan, Chaupal of 8km.

Time to visit-

The best season to visit Churdhar is April-June and Oct-Nov.
